Leodium approached me to build a complete visual identity for their craft gin brand — a premium product with a strong personality and a signature blend of lavender and fig. The challenge was to translate the essence of this distinctive gin into a cohesive brand universe that would work across packaging, hospitality, and brand touchpoints.
The work began with the design of a strong, distinctive logo that would serve as the foundation for the entire brand identity. Rather than leaning into the conventional aesthetics of the gin market, the creative direction embraced a bold, character-driven approach.
The bottle packaging became the centerpiece of the identity — commanding and unapologetic in its deep black color and rich textured patterns. Against this strong visual backdrop, a carefully chosen hint of purple was introduced to evoke the delicate scent of lavender and fig, the aromatic signature that defines Leodium’s character. This interplay between strength and subtlety captures the duality at the heart of the brand.
From this collaboration emerged a complete branding package that extended far beyond the bottle. The identity was rolled out across a full suite of brand assets including beach chairs, flags, gift boxes, menus, and bar design — creating a fully immersive brand experience for consumers.
